Two municipal police officers were slightly injured on Monday in a pursuit-a driver who deliberately targeted them and struck many vehicles, we learned from the town hall and the prosecution.
The author of the facts, born in 1984 and already sentenced for violations of the highway and legislation on drugs, was placed in custody.
He is suspected of attempted homicide on a person depositary of the public authority, conducted under narcotics, conducted without a license and rebellion, said the prosecution.
The facts took place in the early afternoon, on a fast lane that crosses the city of Nice.
According to the prosecution, the driver refused to submit to the injunctions of the two municipal police officers and “Adopted behavior deliberately aimed at the latter”.
In his flight, he struck several dozen vehicles before being arrested. Led to the hospital for exams, the two police officers came out at the end of the afternoon.
