In this locality Maralpine, the delinquency figures, already lower than elsewhere, have dropped in 2024. She is the best student in the department for the security of its inhabitants.
Good, less good, and some good students. On March 30, we denied a table of delinquency in the main municipalities of the Alpes-Maritimes. In these most populated cities, the majority of indicators are decreasing, but some remain above the national average noted by the Ministry of the Interior.
Thanks to data from the Ministerial Statistical Service of Internal Security (SSMSI), we can get an idea of the evolution of criminal acts by city, with the possibility of defining the most performance municipality on this subject.
Already well locked in 2023, Grasse further improved her figures in 2024. In the majority of categories, she does better than these most populous sisters like Nice, Cannes or Antibes.

As for burglaries, for example, the police identified 2.14 per thousand homes last year. A rate well below the rest of the country (5.87 ‰) and which also decreased between 2023 and 2024 (-0.38 ‰). First for this criterion, Grasse is also for the uprooting and hoading vehicles.

On this last point, the statistics are not very brilliant in the department, since the hexagonal average is 7.76 offenses per thousand inhabitants. Despite everything, it can be noted that a significant drop in these acts is noted in these two municipalities (-0.78 ‰ in Cagnes and -0.76 ‰ in Grasse).
We can specify that Grasse remains whatever happens between the second and first row in the French Riviera. This is not quite the case for Cagnes-sur-Mer, a little more penalized by its break-in rate (3.92 ‰, third).
If Grasse can be considered the most peaceful locality in the Alpes-Maritimes, in the Var, the data greet the results of the Seyne-sur-Mer. Global, the latter appears to be that with the most positive statistics among the big cities of 83.
